| Tiivistelmä: | The interest rate cut by the People's Bank of China on Oct. 23, 1997 produced macroeffects and microeffects on our economic development. Taking the speed of economic growth into account, the national economy will grow by a certain degree, considering the economic cycle, the triggering of a new round of economic growth is just round the corner; in view of the inflation rate, the situation of "low inflation" will not change. Enterprises are the greatest beneficiaries from the interest rate cut. Stock market also enjoys great benefits. Banks are indirect beneficiaries of the interest rate cut, for the cut pushes residents' saving, consumption and investing behaviours. |
