| Tiivistelmä: | The author approaches the subject of art funding in Canada critically due to the confusing pattern that almost defies description, not to speak of even adequate measurement. Consequently the author takes a critical look at the recently set up Task Force on Funding of the Arts in Canada, and goes on to suggest a number of measures to clear up the situation. The full range of funding sources must be considered if the country's art funding is to have a clear and sound policy program for the arts. |
