| Tiivistelmä: | Significant attention is currently focussed on the level of remuneration received by directors and officers of public companies in England, Australia and elsewhere. Some have argued that the remuneration received is excessive and that additional regulation is required. Others assert that directors' remuneration is inadequate. The author's concern is the role of the law in this area. The issue is whether the law should take a more interventionist role than it does currently. |
