| Tiivistelmä: | The impacts of the recent economic crises on the German industrial enterprises are analyzed. Different indicators, such as market chanches, inner structure, financial situation, quality of management are combined into so called fitness factors, which shows how successfully a given firm survived the recession beginning in 1992. Using this indicator, the large industrial enterprises are ranked. The different ways and the degree of success companies reacted to the challenges of the recession are considered, several examples, such as the example of Lufthansa, Bayer etc. are presented. |
