The author describes Africa's nightmare public transport system. He considers Angola, Kenya, Nigeria, Gambia and Zambia. Efficient, inexpensive and safe transportation is the hallmark of a progressive society. With economic conditions in the donor countries taking a downtown turn for the worse, Africa's infrastructure will have to wait for better times. |
