| Tiivistelmä: | In this article the author considers the psychological aspects of divorce in Great Britain. The author focuses on the effects of divorce on the careers of individuals in this country. The paper also pays special attention to the impact of the problem on employee absenteeism. The paper enumerates the following results of divorce: maintenance of emotional commitment to the job; efforts of employers in providing advice and information for employees with marital problems. The author states that the trauma of marital collapse inevitably hits the performance at work, and the UK's grim break-up statistics make it likely that there is a great possibility go thought one. |
