| Tiivistelmä: | This paper discusses the effects of minimum wage legislation on small businesses especially in the equestrian sector. The results of a survey of employers suggest that, contrary to conventional wisdom regerding the negative effects of minimum wages on smaller firms, a sizeable proportion of respondents were favourably inclined to such measures. This indicates the diversity of the small business sector, and emphasizes the importance of further research. |
