| Tiivistelmä: | Using British national survey data, this article deals with the impact of unions on management practices to reduce labour costs, to implement high-performance work systems, and to make employee welfare provisions. It is found that relative to non-union workplaces, those workplaces with unions have practices consistent with 'mutual gains' outcomes. |
