| Tiivistelmä: | This paper presents a case study of an orchestra in crisis during a time of governance change. The authors discuss issues that almost led to the near collapse of one enterprise. It is suggested that the threat of dissolution and the need for a symbolic scapegoat so that the musicians could let go of governance control, break the impasse and consider new forms of ownership. |
