| Tiivistelmä: | This article contributes a combined input-output and life cycle inventory (LCI) method to the calculation of emissions and material requirements of the Czech economy. The focus is on materials and emissions embodied in the international trade. It is found that incorporating the LCI data into an input-output model is reasoned. The emissions embodied in the international trade are comparable to the domestic emissions. The results reveal that the Czech exerts environmental pressure on the environment in the other countries thought international trade. |
