| Tiivistelmä: | A model of the determinants of chief executive compensation is presented and tested. Based on a sample from the leisure industry, found is that chief executive pay has complex links to several factors: firm size, complexity, performance, chief executive power, board vigilance, and the chief executive's human capital. Included is a separate examination of chief executive salary and bonus, as well as a test of pay determination across McEacherns ownership categories. |
