| Tiivistelmä: | The author considers the problem of economic development. By "development" understands only such changes in economic life as are not forced upon it from without, but arise by its own initiative from within. The paper describes the economic processes as determined by given circumstances. Economic behaviour appears when people draw the consequences of given circumstances, aiming the best the best possible satisfaction they want. The economy would thus be unchanging if its data were unchanging. Then the author presents a second type of economic behavior describing new and independent agents in the economy, namely creative construction in the economic sphere. |
