| Tiivistelmä: | In the Ninth Five-Year Plan period and in the year 2010, in terms of aggregate scale, the labor supply will continue to increase. So the employment situation will still be grim. The results of a forecast show that China's labor supply and demand will be basically balanced by the end of this century and in the early next century. In the year 2000, the labor supply will number 774.76 million while labor demand 731.28 million. The gap between them will be 43.48 million. In the year 2010, the above figures will be 883.80 million, 858.02 million and 25.79 million. During the said period, the structure of labor employment will be changed gradually towards the modern one from traditional one. |
