| Tiivistelmä: | This article deals with the use of performance indicators (henceforth as: perf-inds.) in Norwegian municipalities (here as: muncps). Based on quantitative methods, it is revealed that similarities in service production have increased somewhat during the period where perf-inds. have been available. Isomorphism can mainly get observed in muncps.' groups with structural similarities. This may be due to the issue that local authorities tend to treat oerf-inds. as cognitive standards. However, based on qualitative interviews in four muncps. it is found that actors within the muncps. claim making use of perf-inds. in making genuine and locally based choice etc. (original in Norwegian) |
