| Tiivistelmä: | In this article, workers' understanding of leadership practices is used to examine the impact of organisations' global connections on the construction of management (here as: mgmt.) culture. The study is based on empirical data from a case study of a Norwegian-owned company operating globally. The analysis is based on two negotiations processes: "negotiation of participation" and "negotiation of hierarchy of control". The findings indicate the significance of paying attention to national institutional systems in studies of global effects of mgmt. culture (original in Norwegian). |
