| Tiivistelmä: | The prospects for the British economy are better now than for many a year. With the three sources of economic crisis in Britain - inflation, the balance of payments and public finances - under control, the prospect is for continued recovery and good growth, with little inflation, for some years to come. When Britain first started to receiver she was battling against unhelpful conditions in most of her major markets (except US). Now the whole world economy is growing quite well and the market for British exports is picking up, helping to sustain UK growth. |
