| Tiivistelmä: | The process of German re-unification was a singular historic event also in economic terms. In economic science the transition from socialism to the market economy as a real process has hardly been the subject of any research. Initially, the "economic shock" displayed a side which was explicitly felt to be positive, in particular by West German enterprises. To achieve the ultimate goal all those responsible for policy should adhere to the course adopted for lasting success. |
