| Tiivistelmä: | The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change has the potential to interfere dramatically with the economies of sovereign nations. It is now known to have been based on scientific models that were wrong. This paper first highlights certain aspects of "The Rio Treaty" and then explores its scientific basis. The quantitative basis for the Treaty has changed since its inception, even though the current scientific consensus on the issue of global warming is the very one that was marginalised by the United Nations during the period in which the scientific groundwork for the Treaty was established. |
