| Tiivistelmä: | The export of coal grew from 6.57 million tons in 1981 to 24.38 million tons in 1994 in China, an increase of 2.7 times, accounting for over 6% of the world trade volume. Now China has become the world's fifth largest coal-exporting country but it is still in compatible with the status of China ranking first in the coal output. So China should strengthen coal industry's foreign trade , establish coal- exporting bases, and accelerate the construction of ports' infrastructure facilities. Besides, she should improve the quality of coal to be exported, reduce its cost, study the policy of exporting coal, expand the markets for exporting coal and enhance its competitiveness in overseas coal markets. |
