| Tiivistelmä: | In Germany, like in other European countries, employed inventors receive remunerations from their employers if these make use of inventions made by the employees according to a federal law. This law was passed some 40 years ago in order to achieve legal, economic and social goals. Research that has been accumulated over the past years casts substantial doubts on the possibility to reach these goals by collective regulation. Therefore, it is suggested to consider abandoning the law and leave remunerations for employed inventors to individual bargaining. |
