| Tiivistelmä: | The various external, moderating and internal factors that may influence the implementation of an environmental management system within a limited sample of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are examined in this article. Both formal and informal environmental management systems were considered. The findings show that age, customers and employees' concerns were significantly associated with the informal level of implementation of an environmental management system. |
