| Tiivistelmä: | Flexible benefits are an alternative delivery system for benefit selection and payment. Under a traditional approach, an employer determines or selects the benefit package and pays for it. Employees usually have no ability to deviate from the employer-paid arrangement. In contrast, Flex allows employees to have considerable input regarding the composition of their benefit selections. In addition, the employee decides how many employer-dollars to spend on benefits with an option to receive some portion in cash. |
