| Tiivistelmä: | As early as in 1988, Korea started its investment in Shandong. By the end of 1993, the provincial government had accumulatively ratified 750 Korea-invested enterprises with a total contracted volume of US dollar 0.85 billion and a total of US dollar 0.225 billion actually in possession, which accounted for 27.6%, 39% and 64.3% of the total amount of Korea's investment projects in China respectively. Viewing from the development trends, Shandong is sure becoming an important base for Korea to penetrate into China's broad market, as well as a significant supporting point for it to achieve its goal of setting up a "Economic Circle around the Yellow Sea" which it is always longing for. At last, this paper analyzes the restrictive factors for Sino-Korean economic and trade cooperation and countermeasures to strengthen cooperation. |
