| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines householdsÂ’ sustainable consumption patterns using the waste input-output (WIO) model which is argued to be more suitable for analysis than the traditional IO model because it analyzes both the purchase and disposal stages properly. The article discusses following problems: how do each good and service contribute to the overall environmental load, which consumption pattern is most suitable, and how income rebound effects can be evaluated? |
