Tiivistelmä:Long-range planning is still not widely accepted in Korea, while most U.S. and Japanese corporations had long-range plans by 1975. In Korea and Japan planning is oriented towards direction setting, while in the U.S.towards implementation and control. There are differences in preparation and review in the 3 countries, but there's no difference in decision making.Korea should shift from the goal-setting to the integrated type used by the U.S. and Japan.Educating managers is of major importance for Korean business.
