| Tiivistelmä: | What is the role of judgement in strategic management? The author examines the nature and characteristics of judgement in a strategic context and identifies the limitations which certain human traits place on our judgement abilities. This article suggests that possibly the most dangerous cultural state for an organization is that of hhyper-reality. The concept of dominant logic has been suggested by Prahalad and Bettis; the expression "hyper-reality" is used here to describe a condition of dominant logic which arises when operating norms have produced significant success over a long period of time, but are no longer appropriate to the changing environment in which the organization finds itself. |
