Tiivistelmä:Most organizations use steering committees and planning systems yet often strategic initiatives are uncoordinated and some are never implemented. Incremental change typically occurs within a paradigm or set of beliefs held in common and taken for granted; thus the forces of inertia, stability and strategy within the firm are encompassed. But a more revolutionary strategy may be necessary and the existing paradigm has to be, actually, resisted.
