| Tiivistelmä: | Small companies should not be treated like a small version of a large company.For EDI introduction, the main difference is that small companies usually do not have MIS departments so they depend on standard computer programs.This research discusses attributes of EDI introduction for small business.While experiences of small businesses from other countries are valuable they do not directly transfer to local situation.This paper describes an EDI Prototype for small businesses and gives guidelines for EDI introduction.It also presents test results from presentation and use of the prototype by managers of small businesses in Slovenia. |
