| Tiivistelmä: | Successful companies quite often have problems to cope effectively with changes in business conditions. Past success seems to become an obstacle for strategic change and therefore limits the potential for future success. Thus there exists a paradoxon in the discipline of strategic management. This paper discusses basic elements influencing a strategic change, which are the cognition, the motivation and the capability. In addition, specific barriers for an effective adaption in successful companies and ways to overcome these barriers are analyzed (original in German). |
