| Tiivistelmä: | To remain competitive,British industry must not only employ the latest technology,but have access to the highly skilled,flexible work force which can translate state-of-the-art technology into an advantage in the world marketplace. British attitude toward training are confused. Rather than choosing the technology they need to compete and then training their workers to use it,many companies are only introducing new equipment which they can quickly and cheaply train their existing work forces to operate. Most firms are content to train in-house,instead of making use of better outside training resources. |
