| Tiivistelmä: | The application of linear programming (LP) has already brought advances in discriminant analysis, but until now its full power has not been achieved. Removing certain distortions that had diminished the quality of the solutions, we can increase the scope and flexibility of these models, too. In addition, it is shown that special model manipulations and simplifications can be achieved. |
