| Tiivistelmä: | The international practice in practising the policy of protection of agriculture is that poor countries pursue the policy of protecting industry but discriminating against agriculture while rich countries protect agriculture. However, at present, China with low level of per capita income and large proportion of rural population hasn't had the conditions for comprehensive protection of agriculture. Therefore, it will be possible that there is protection of agriculture, which, however, is not enough in China. But this kind of incomplete protection will result in harming both peasants and consumers. Besides, the government is unable to gain benefits from it. So it is even more undesirable. |
