| Tiivistelmä: | The basic train of thought on developing the forward foreign exchange market under the condition of open economy is as follows: We should first develop spot exchange market to lay foundation for the development of forward exchange market. We should also bring into play the important role of the central bank in guiding and stabilizing market. The central bank should encourage banks to make public the exchange rate of their forward exchange contracts and process the information on forward exchange rate as well. To make the forward exchange market operate healthily, we must perfect the related legislation. |
