| Tiivistelmä: | The author comments on basic concerns underlying Williams' (1987) paper. The present paper suggests that fairness under accountability and fairness in distribution stem from different ethical frameworks and different (though complementary) assumptions on the society. The author makes some preliminary suggestions as to how a communitarian perspective may be introduced alongside the basically individualistic one in accounting. |
