| Tiivistelmä: | The authors of the paper state that performance management has seen interest in the marketplace since Kaplan and Norton introduced the balanced scorecard. The authors also state that practitioners have implemented dozens of new redesigned performance measurement systems. The authors express an opinion that these lessons learned into practice can make the difference between implementing a monitoring system and creating a learning organization that constantly challenges the prevailing assumptions that impede strategic thinking. The author also says that organizations should reward personnel for their efforts in learning and follow-through. |
