| Tiivistelmä: | This paper emphasizes the dependence of the level of organizational trust on work ethic. It aims at showing that development of trust in organizations can be stimulated via raising the level of work ethic with organizational practices. A historical-cultural analysis of the Lithuanian context is performed. Lithuania is chosen as an example of a post-socialist context where work ethic and trust in the society used to be rather low. Discussed are organizational practices, especially those related to people management. |
