| Tiivistelmä: | During the eighth five-year Plan period, the development level of processing industry rose rapidly. However, the relative level of the industry as a whole fell somewhat, especially the levels of output ,profit and tax payment and capital input, which presented a adversely changing trend. The input structure of processing industry was gradually inclining to light and heavy processing industries with the industrial products as their raw materials. During that period, the efficiency of processing industry became lower and lower. In 1994, for instance, compared with 1990, the profit and tax rate of fund fell from 13.3% to 9.7% and the tax rate of output value from 9.7% to 8.2%. |
