Tiivistelmä:The marketing literature on motion pictures' success factors is rare despite motion pictures' economic importance and specific product characteristics. This paper develops a model containing several key factors of success and the interrelations among the factors. The model is empirically tested based on data for movies released in Germany in 1997. There is also information from U.S. (original in German).
