Tiivistelmä:The cultural value orientations (VOs) of Indian, Polish, Russian and American employees working in three different categories, namely professional, technical and local services, are examined in the article. The VOs are analyzed in both organizational and national levels. Data was gathered with the help of a questionnaire survey, which had 1852 respondents. The results show how there are both cross-country cultural differences and similarities among the employees’ VOs in the four countries. A remarkable cultural convergence can be seen in the employees’ VOs in technical and professional organizations, but no significant similarities of differences can be perceived in the cultures of service-based organizations in the four countries. Some similarities are emerging between the managerial employees of the countries.
