| Tiivistelmä: | At the present stage, China should still take money supply as the variable of the intermediate objective in its monetary policy. To control money supply, the flexibility of interest rate, should also be enhanced to coordinate the growth of M1 and M2 and to make them more identical. The working procedure of controlling money supply within the scope of objective is as follows: First, we should forecast the money demand and then formulate the credit plan, starting from the objective of money supply and according to the principle of the so-called "financial planning". After that, we should monitor and observe the statistics of money supply month after month and quarter after quarter to see if they are within the scope of the set objective. According to the monitored results, we will at last adjust the operation of monetary policy. |
