| Tiivistelmä: | The paper addresses the question of the politics and security and how it should be understood from the perspective of biosecurity. Contemporary strategies for managing biorisks are examined in three European states: France, Germany and the United Kingdom. It is suggested that the framing of threat and response differs, even with Europe, and that three different configurations can be identified: contingency planning, protection and resilience. |
