| Tiivistelmä: | This article aims to develop an integrative model of small business growth being broad and parsimonious. The model provides an opportunity 1. to evaluate the level of knowledge about small business growth, 2. to assess the contribution of each perspective, 3. to examine the indirect effects of some constructs, and 4. to consider different levels of analysis. Using data from more than 410 small businesses, derived are propositions suggesting how entrepreneurial orientation, environmental characteristics, firm resources, and managers' personal attitudes directly and/or indirectly influence the growth of small businesses. |
