| Tiivistelmä: | The surveys presented here give a consistent picture of the use to which managers put statistics. The level of usage was highly similar at between 60% and 70% of the sample each of the countries and the measured demographic variables did not provide a useful discriminator between users and non-users. The three sets of managers tended to see broadly the same advantages of using statistical methods. Some positive aspects emerge from the study: the respondents view a number of techniques as warranting a further use by managers, but the result is not entirely positive; the response to the question on what statistical techniques the MBA graduates surveyed would wish to see included/excluded in a MBA programme. |
