| Tiivistelmä: | This article uses a case study approach to gain a better understanding of the emergence and dynamics of distributed leadership in the information system environment. This paper concentrates on the distribution of leadership roles across different individuals in the organization during developing and implementing a knowledge sharing system. The findings indicate clearly that each of leadership roles played by several individuals was essential. The authors highlight the importance to take advantage of the synenergies from growing number of employees enacting leadership roles at all levels. |
