| Tiivistelmä: | Metamorphoses portrays the world as a unity whose parts can easily transform into one-another. Individual objects are characterised by the most important traits of their kind. Transformation of one object into another occurs through transformation of one's traits into the traits of the other. Such transformations are presented as blow up or as large tableaux. |
