| Tiivistelmä: | The first section of the paper proposes a distinction between the linguistic significance of a word and its various sense-meanings. The nature of the code-significance of a word can be characterized as a form which is compatible with various senses resulting from dynamic interpretation. The second section illustrates a modeling strategy with some of those English words which resist traditional semantic analysis (such as game, play, up, down, true and right). |
