| Tiivistelmä: | Sichuan is a large province with a population of more than 100 millions in China. It is located in the inland China , neither along the coast nor the border. But since ancient times it is famous as the Land of Plenty for its rich natural resources, diversified culture and the place propitious for giving birth to great men. In 1960s the large-scale construction was taken place in Sichuan and in the end of 1970s it became the first province to take economic reforms. At present, Sichuan is facing the opportunities to open to the outside world and it is really the time for Sichuan to go out of the basin and to the world to play a role in the world economy. For this reason, Sichuan should take certain measures to promote its opening by constructing infrastructure and improving the investment environment. |
