| Tiivistelmä: | In this article, the success of an effort to improve the inbound logistics operation in a car assembly plant is evaluated from a statistical systems perspective. It is demonstrated that a management breakthrough in the inbound logistics operation was achieved by providing sufficient means for operational decision making. |
