Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the influence of business strategy and market structure variables on the performance of international joint ventures (IJV) operating in P.R.China. It was found that product quality, pricing, sales force marketing and flexible terms of payment are significant business determinants of IJV performance. Industry growth appears to have a positive effect on IJV's accounting return and domestic sales, and a negative impact on venture's export growth. |
