| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims at providing new theoretical insights and empirical evidence on the effect of market and technological uncertainty (hereafter as: tech-unc-ty.) on the market valuation of a firm's R&D capital. For testing, a panel dataset of 290 manufacturing firms traded in the U.K. is used. It is shown that market and tech-unc-ty. have got distinct effects on the valuation of R&D investments. |
